In this dynamic role, you’ll work directly with Project Managers and collaborate with regional sales and service teams to bring customer projects to life. You’ll use project management tools to track progress, ensure timely delivery of documentation, and keep customers informed every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Include the following duties but may be assigned additional duties as needed:
- Review service area schedules and sales orders with Field Service Management via phone or email.
- Provide pertinent information to field support departments regarding changes in project requirements or materials related to service.
- Develop project plans for small to medium-sized projects, communicating product delivery dates and project milestones to customers.
- Manage project budgets and escalate any concerns to project manager to collaborate on risk management.
- Coordinate and communicate with regional sales and service teams, as well as HQ department management, to address and drive improvement actions if project plans are not met.
- Proactively manage risks and issues to ensure timely project delivery meeting Rees Scientific and customer expectations.
- Record all relevant information in the appropriate internal database system.
- Ensure all necessary job-related materials, equipment, and documentation are dispatched to field staff.
- Support customer site walkthroughs and perform on-site project management duties as needed.
- Travel overnight may be required.
- Support other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative customer service support and / or project management.
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is desired, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in reading and comprehending simple instructions, as well as effectively presenting information to customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in contact management systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Adaptability and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
