We are seeking candidates for the personal chef position with our company in Wilmington, NC. The role offers a flexible schedule, excellent benefits, and great commissions.
We are looking for someone to execute meal prep with a Monday-Wednesday (8am-6pm) availability and occasional weekends as needed for event work (morning or night).
We offer free training to help you succeed!

Meal Prep Work:
- Promptly communicate with clients and team members within a 24-hour time period.
- Menu creation as needed
- Plan and grocery shop for clients' ingredients.
- Safely transport ingredients in clients' home.
- Promptly arrive at client's home as requested.
- Execute meal prep in clients' home.
- Properly cool, store, and label food with reheating instructions in the client's refrigerator.
- Effectivity clean after executing clients' meals
- Complete an inventory sheet after each job.
Event work:
- Promptly communicate with clients and team members within a 24-hour time period.
- Menu creation as needed
- Plan events and grocery shop for clients' ingredients.
- Safely transport ingredients to clients' home.
- Promptly arrive at client's home as requested.
- Lead and execute events
- Serve clients as requested
- Effectively clean after closing each event.
Job requirements:
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and their situations
- A positive and professional attitude and team mindset
- Strong communication skills – in-person, written, and by phone
- Dietary Awareness ability to tailor to dietary preferences or restrictions
- Time Management ability to manage time and complete tasks on time.
- Meal Planning skills in planning balanced meals and creating menus
- Grocery Shopping competence in sourcing fresh, quality ingredients and managing a budget.
- Organizational Skills
- Flexible and resourceful
- Culinary Certificate or degree
- At least five years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Can move and lift up to 40 lb, stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of cooking.
- Variable hours, evenings and weekends will be required
- Current ServSafe certification
- Reliable car with space to transport a large cooler and equipment
- Clean background check and without offensive tattoos or piercings
- Vehicle insurance is required

Pay:
You will be paid flat rate for each project once you are certified to work with us. Pay can be between $150-$315 per project and more!
Tips commonly ranges from $100-$200 and sometimes more! This is a contractor job.
