Role and Responsibilities
General Facility Cleaning:
- Sweeping and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and cleaning windows in all facility areas.
Restroom Maintenance:
- Maintaining cleanliness and stocking supplies in restrooms.
Trash and Waste Management:
- Emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste, including recycling when applicable.
- Assisting Logistics personnel in the emptying and maintaining of the trash trailer.
Cleaning and Maintenance of Outdoor Facilities:
- Cleaning picnic areas, benches, and outdoor equipment.
- Blowing sidewalks and drives.
- Cleaning windows.
- Ensuring that outdoor lights are functional and replacing bulbs as needed.
General Yard Maintenance:
- Mowing lawns and trimming hedges.
- Raking leaves and removing debris.
- Watering plants and ensuring proper upkeep of landscaping.
Weed Control:
- Applying appropriate herbicides or manual weeding techniques to control unwanted plant growth.
Snow Removal:
- Clearing and de-icing sidewalks, driveways, and entrances during winter weather conditions.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning and maintenance supplies.
Safety and Compliance:
- Following health and safety regulations and ensuring that all areas are safe for staff and visitors.
Team Support:
- Assisting with special events or emergency operations as needed.
Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
