Compensation and Schedule :
- Compensation : Competitive, based on experience
- Work Hours : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, with extended hours during year-end and quarter-end
- Hybrid Schedule : 2 days in-office / 3 days remote (option for 5 days in-office)
- Employment Type : Direct Hire
- Travel : Occasional travel required
Role Overview :
As an Accounting Manager , you will oversee the corporate accounting function, ensuring general ledger accuracy, tax compliance, and financial statement integrity . You will lead a team of 6-8 supervisors , drive process improvements, and provide critical financial support to operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and develop a team of 6-8 supervisors, fostering a culture of growth and accountabilityOversee general ledger maintenance and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies and GAAPManage financial areas including Cash, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Expenses, and AccrualsDrive the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reportingPrepare, review, and approve journal entries and account reconciliationsMonitor and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirementsAssist with external audits, acquisition due diligence, and financial reporting requirementsSupport FP&A teams and operational divisions with financial analysis and problem resolutionPartner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance financial reporting accuracyImplement and maintain best practices for accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsDevelop and conduct financial training for internal teams to enhance reporting capabilitiesDrive special projects, including system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process optimizationsIdeal Candidate Profile :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance6 years of related experience, including 5 years of supervisory experienceInternship experience can be counted toward the 6-year requirement
Candidates with 3-4 years of leadership experience and strong supervisory skills will also be consideredProficiency in SAP software is a plusExposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) complianceStrong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesBenefits :
