Job Description:
As an Entry Level Payroll Clerk at Reflections Glass, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. You will work closely with the HR and Accounting departments to maintain payroll records, process payroll transactions, and resolve any payroll-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data including hours worked, bonuses, deductions, and other relevant information into the payroll system
- Verifying timekeeping records and ensuring accuracy of employee hours
- Processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Reviewing and reconciling payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans
- Collaborating with HR and Accounting teams to ensure payroll processes are efficient and effective
- Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information and adhering to data protection regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience in payroll administration or a related role is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
