Job Description
As an Off-Price Buyer/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for sourcing products through existing and new clients, managing supply to retailers, and developing new business opportunities.
You will multitask throughout the day, communicate clearly with team members, and ensure the overall success of the buying department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build long-term relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients.
- Process deal flow from start to finish, including logistics.
- Achieve sales targets and goals.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting.
- Collaborate with our buying team to meet client needs.
- Attend trade shows to showcase products and meet clients.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in off-price or brick and mortar retail.
- Proven track record of success in commission-based selling.
- Strong sense of style and knowledge of consumer trends.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Google Docs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
