**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Material Procurement professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing take off estimates, managing the sourcing and procurement of construction materials, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
**Responsibilities:**
- Review plans for all materials needed.
- Estimate labor for projects.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct effective supplier management practices.
- Oversee the supply chain process for construction materials from sourcing to delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all project milestones and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Implement supply chain management strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize category management techniques to enhance procurement processes.
- Coordinate logistics for the transportation and delivery of materials.
- Ensure quality management standards are met for all procured materials.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in procurement management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Ability to assess market trends and make informed purchasing decisions based on price and quality.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control measures.
- Spanish speaking, reading, and writing is a plus.
