Job Description
This role is accountable for the overall integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial results and safeguarding of plant assets for a multi-line, complex operation with significant SKU complexity.
You will develop and manage direct reports responsible for day-to-day accounting, reporting and inventory control for operations at respective plants, working closely with other Manufacturing Accounting Managers, Plant Management, the North American Business Unit Finance Team, and other Controllers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Balance sheet oversight and reconciliation.
- Forecasting & budget planning.
- Capital expenditure analysis and reporting.
- Accurate cost analysis.
- Compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
- Sustain continuous operational and financial results improvement with focus on cost savings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have ~5-7 years of related work experience in manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in food and beverage related manufacturing. You must be IT literate with Microsoft Office skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
A strong understanding of financial accounting systems, controls and compliance procedures, industry practices, and effective written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
