What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC ID Grinding Equipment Operator position at Regal Rexnord?
About the Position
This position requires the ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Ideal candidates will have experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma. This role is subject to policies and procedures set forth by the State Department and applicants who do not meet such requirements will not be eligible for the position.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years experience in operation set-up on CNC ID grinding equipment.
- Skilled in the use of indicator, gage, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts.
- Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0003") of ID's, hold .0003 profile, roundness.
- Understanding of machine tool accuracies, tool offsets.
- Knowledge of cutting wheel feeds, speeds, and wheel life for aerospace grinding.
