About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Machinist - Grinding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing work efficiently while meeting drawing and planning specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Set up and operate grinding machines to produce parts according to established blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to reduce part quality variation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Three or more years of experience in setting up and operating CNC ID grinding equipment.
- Expertise in using indicators, gauges, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for precision machined parts.
- Familiarity with cutting wheel feeds, speeds, and wheel life for aerospace applications.
- Strong ability to follow instructions, read blueprints, and interpret quality requirements.
