Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs)
- Lead cross-departmental teams to enhance the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Upgrade gaging techniques
- Enhance inspection processes
- Conduct thorough quality audits
- Facilitate Measurement Systems Analyses (MSAs), including Gage R&R and machine studies
- Drive quality improvement initiatives
- Engage with suppliers and clients
- Conduct training for quality staff and machinists on gage and inspection methods
- Develop gage programming protocols
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Materials preferred)
- 0-2 years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing
- Outstanding communication skills
- Adaptability in high-pressure environments
- Collaborative spirit with influence without authority
- Commitment to achieving a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within three years
