About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ID Grinder to join our team. As an ID Grinder, you will be responsible for operating CNC ID grinding equipment to produce high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine tool accuracies, tool offsets, and cutting wheel feeds, speeds, and wheel life.
Key Accountabilities:
- Completes set-ups with some supervision/assistance.
- Responsible for all phases of part operation set-up to achieve first article acceptance.
- Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and records.
- May identify and recommend process improvements that reduce part quality variation.
