What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler Shipping position at Regal Rexnord?
Coordinate workflow from Assembly, Receiving, Sales and other factory departments as required. Develop a thorough understanding of the trucking industry, shipping requirements of customers and freight carriers. Communicate with customers, brokers and freight companies to ensure up to date and accurate information is provided. Ensure all outbound shipments, documentation and transactions are processed on time. Assist with coordinating inbound freight. Safely and accurately prepare products for shipment. Maintain accurate counts of products. Accurately enter information into the SAP program system Ensure adequate supplies of shipping and packaging materials, including pallets, boxes, etc. and material handling equipment. Participate in cycle counting and physical inventory process. Transport, put away and pull stock from inventory locations using forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Instruct and train employees on shipping and stockroom job procedures. Create, edit and maintain work instructions and documentation necessary for accurate and up to date communication of information. Follow and enforce all attendance, scheduling and safety policies. Inform Supervisor of personnel or safety related matters Participate in continuous improvement activities. Ensure work area is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
