Sr. Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for preparing month-end reconciliation and closings, financial forecasts, and consolidations; providing financial advice to the manufacturing department through the study of financial data; meeting corporate reporting requirements of the US based operations; managing P&L and ensuring the accuracy of physical inventory; and controlling the flow of raw materials, tools, and other assets in the manufacturing department.

Requirements:

·        Cost Control and Revenue Enhancement

·        Inventory Accounting

·        Budgeting

·        Monthly accounts reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting

·        Track expenses and manage the financial process of grants

·        Preparing documents for external or internal auditors

·        Financial statements review and submittal to Global Controller and CFO

·        Account Payable invoice submissions

·        Bill.com submissions for payment

·        Reconciliations with suppliers, customers, banks and intercompany

·        Management reporting

·        Accounts Receivable aging and order to cash follow up, credit control

·        Tax returns, incentive, audits, and state aids programs controls

·        CAPEX controls and reportings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting – preferably in a Manufacturing environment
• ERP experience – preferably SAP
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Bill.com, SAGE
• Some experience in Public Accounting is a plus
