Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing our financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.  This position involves overseeing financial statements, budgets, and internal controls while providing strategic insights to support our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Assist in external audits and tax preparation.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
