Woodlake at Tolland is a short and long term care facility located in Tolland, CT. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Woodlake at Tolland is a top-rated skilled nursing facility known for its welcoming environment and commitment to quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Ensure the grounds are well-maintained and that all areas of the property are safe, clean, and functional.
• Respond to maintenance requests and provide timely solutions to residents and staff.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the facility operates efficiently.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with special projects and other tasks as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs in various areas such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
