Woodlake at Tolland is a short and long term care facility located in Tolland, CT. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Woodlake at Tolland is a top-rated skilled nursing facility known for its welcoming environment and commitment to quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
Ensure the grounds are well-maintained and that all areas of the property are safe, clean, and functional.
Respond to maintenance requests and provide timely solutions to residents and staff.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the facility operates efficiently.
Support the Maintenance Supervisor with special projects and other tasks as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs in various areas such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
