Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Regency at Whitmore Lake. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our guests.
The ideal candidate will be prompt, dedicated, and enjoy caring for others. As a CNA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide high-quality care to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Measure and record height and weight, as well as intake and output.
- Care for the guests' environment, ensuring their physical space is clean and comfortable.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting dignity and respect for all guests.
- Support guests with eating and hydration, encouraging independence while ensuring safety.
- Observe guests' skin when administering care and report any changes to the licensed nurse.
- Meet guests' mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and connection.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- CNA certification, obtained through an accredited program.
