Compensation: $44.00/hr
Ciena Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to serve as our Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Control RN.
This position involves acting as the educator for the facility and other in-service educational programs for the nursing staff, with the goal of enhancing their knowledge and skills. Additionally, this role requires designing systems and approving actions to prevent or control infections based on surveillance reports of infections and infection potential among residents and staff.

The successful candidate will join an experienced team that values communication and strong teamwork abilities. Some key responsibilities include:
Designing, planning, and providing educational programs on all shifts and for all departments.
Participating in the staff evaluation process by providing attendance records and observation of employee performance.
Providing general facility orientation to all new employees and ongoing in-service education.
Planning and providing a monthly and annual schedule of planned education programs.
Ensuring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) meet the annual 12-hour in-service requirement.
Actively participating in quality assurance and reporting concerns to supervisor.
Designing systems and approving actions to prevent or control infections.
In addition, we are looking for candidates with:
1-3 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
CMS Certification required
CPR certification
Salary : $44
