As the Payroll Associate with Regency Management Services, you will support payroll processing by inputting data efficiently and accurately. You will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. You will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving, and a thorough understanding of payroll processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, deductions, and tax information.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy before payroll processing.
- Calculate and process overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other special payroll items.
- Handle payroll discrepancies, resolve errors, and address employee payroll inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
- Support administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, FSA, and other voluntary benefits.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and provide guidance on plan options.
- Act as support during annual open enrollment
