Job Title: Art Manager
The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the clinical/dietetics team and the kitchen staff at Regency On The Lake. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail to ensure that guests receive meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.
What You Will Do
- Conduct comprehensive dietary history/food preference screenings upon guest admission to understand their specific requirements.
- Create and manage menus that cater to the diverse needs of our guests, ensuring that every meal is not only delicious but also safe and healthy.
- Establish and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment that complies with State and Federal regulations.
- Lead the purchasing process in the dietary department, making informed decisions to optimize resources and achieve our goals.
- Manage the entire spectrum of kitchen operations, from procurement to sanitation, scheduling, training, talent development, and quality assurance.
- Foster collaboration between departments to identify and address guests' preferences and eating habits.
- Accurately document the dietary aspects of guest care plans in a timely manner.
Your Qualifications
- A valid certification as a Certified Dietary Manager or current enrollment in an approved certification course.
- Obligation to obtain ServSafe Certification within 90 days of employment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent as the minimum educational requirement.
- Prior experience in food service, particularly in an institutional setting where you planned, prepared, and served regular and therapeutic diets.
