Behavioral Health Case Manager
Overview:
ReGenesis Health Care is seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented Behavioral Health Case Manager. The case manager will be responsible for supporting the administrative operations and patient care coordination for the Behavioral Health program. In this important role, the successful applicant will act as an information resource and ambassador to patients, the community, physicians, and staff, working within a Federally Qualified Community Health Center and following the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) guidelines.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide service linkage and client advocacy to patients served by RHC SBS to maintain continuity of care within the integrated care model.
- Properly utilize our electronic health records system and other computer systems to facilitate efficient and effective workflow for our behavioral health services.
- Accurately complete a quality registration in the electronic health record that maintains the integrity of demographic and financial information required for clinical and billing functions for every patient encounter.
- Interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities.
- Provide administrative and program support for Behavioral Health staff, including clinic and school-based counselors and leaders.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and initiative without direct supervision.
- Perform other necessary duties as required by the Behavioral Health Services Coordinator to meet the goal of providing exemplary primary health care.
- Maintain HIPAA, confidentiality, and handle sensitive information, and adhere to HIPPA guidelines.
- Understand and adhere to state and federal regulations and system policies regarding compliance, integrity, and ethical registration practices.

Applicant Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in health/social sciences or a related field with 1-2 years’ experience in the health care system; or High School diploma with more than 2 years’ experience in a health care system.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written or oral communication skills.
- Proven diplomatic approach to complex situations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to work M - F from 8am - 5pm.
- Valid SC Driver’s License
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
