The Student Engagement & Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Student Services and the Student Engagement Team by managing administrative functions, coordinating student engagement initiatives, and serving as a key point of contact for students, faculty, and staff.

The Student Engagement & Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Student Services and the Student Engagement Team by managing administrative functions, coordinating student engagement initiatives, and serving as a key point of contact for students, faculty, and staff.
Essential Duties
- Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the Council of Graduate Students (COGS), including evaluations and data summaries.
- Collaborate with the Student Engagement Team to assist with administrative needs for major events, the recognition program, award celebrations, and student organization training, communications, and approvals.
- Work closely with the Director of Student Engagement to develop and coordinate social media and marketing strategies for events, services, and other Student Engagement communications.
- Provide frontline customer service to students, parents, colleagues, and community members by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Perform receptionist duties, including answering calls (serving as the university operator), greeting visitors, and handling general administrative tasks such as copying and scanning.
- Support ID badge creation and access control for students, faculty, and staff.
- Manage Student Services email accounts, ensuring timely responses to guest inquiries.
- 2-3 years of administrative experience in a professional or higher education setting
- High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in technology and data management tools, including Google Drive, spreadsheets, and office productivity software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
