Job Overview
GOAL:
To provide a pleasant working environment through maintenance of all buildings and grounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in facilities maintenance, custodial services, and fleet operation
- Efficient using technology
- 3-5 years related experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, vehicle maintenance & repairs, & landscaping
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Must be a provider of excellent customer service
- Work independently without regular direct supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Communicate professionally to internal & external customers
- Performs regular building inspections and determines which issues need to be addressed and the plan for addressing them
- Determine whether building systems are operating appropriately
- Maintain aesthetic appearance of grounds and buildings
- Move furniture as needed
- Install furniture as needed
- Follow all required bid laws and purchasing policies
- Supervise procurement and maintenance and upgrades of furniture and utilities
- Secure all outside contractors
- Ensure all vehicles are fueled and are safe for operation
- Ability to create and manage a budget
- Adhere to work schedules and attendance policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director
