Summary
The Supervisor is responsible to the Maintenance Manager.
Primary purpose or role in this position:
· Provides supervision, evaluation, scheduling, motivation, and disciplining of technical personnel.
· Coordinates and prioritizes all production activities.
Education and/or licenses required for this position:
· Associate degree in electronics or Electronics Technician Certificate or equivalent Military training.
· FAA Repairmen Certificate.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience required for this position:
· Know company manuals with associated policies and procedures.
· Knowledge expertise of standard shop or ramp test equipment.
· Able to interpret maintenance requirements into maintenance tasks.
· Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
· Experience in supervising and qualifying personnel.
· Good communication, organizational, and scheduling skills.
· Read, write, speak, and understand English language.
Principle duties and authorities of this position:
· Responsible for accurate and complete documentation of all performed maintenance in accordance with company procedures.
· Responsible for the implementation of scrap program.
· Maintains special tools and test equipment in good condition and reports discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager.
· Ensures the collection of expired or spent shelf life sensitive materials and coordinates disposition with Materials Manager.
· Qualifies non-certificated technical personnel for performing individual tasks under supervision of Lead Technician.
· Identifies problems in the daily operations of the repair station; reports and makes recommendations for procedures and processes.
· Promotes the good morale necessary for safe and efficient work environment.
· Responsible for ESD protection in production area.
· Responsible for tagging and protection of all sub-assemblies removed during maintenance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises all maintenance personnel in the production department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Education and/or Experience
Associates degree in electronics or an Electronics Technician Certificate or equivalent Military training. Four years related experience and/or training, with an FAA Repairman's Certificate.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
