Position Overview:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Drive new business growth by prospecting and nurturing relationships with companies within our specific commercial lines focus area.
- Your primary focus will be driving agency awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- You’ll also develop and execute marketing campaigns, manage digital and social media strategies, and analyze performance to optimize results.
- This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong networking skills and a passion for sales and business development!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Agency Principal to generate qualified leads and support client acquisition efforts.
- Implement lead nurturing strategies through multiple marketing modes (i.e. cold-calling, email, text, CRM campaigns).
- Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Conduct industry research to identify market trends, target industries, and competitor strategies.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the property and casualty insurance sector.
- Strong networking and relationship building skills (interpersonal skills).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a persuasive sales approach.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Baseline knowledge of commercial insurance products and industry regulations skills () are a plus.
