Summary of Duties
As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will lead efforts to connect underserved community members with healthcare services, health insurance enrollment, and other vital resources. Your work will directly contribute to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and prepare for outreach events to reach residents without access to healthcare or health insurance.
Provide health insurance enrollment and application assistance.
Assist with the preparation and gathering of various reports.
Arrange transportation as needed for families to access healthcare.

Requirements :
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : A degree in public health, health education, communications, or related program preferred; Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish); The ability and willingness to interact with others in both a small and large group setting is essential. Must possess a true desire to help others and display compassion and empathy in day-to-day activities. Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and internet-based applications. On-the-job training provided. Must have a valid drivers license / reliable transportation and be willing to submit a background check and oral drug screen. screen.
