What you will Do
- Receives and reviews referral orders.
- Contacts insurance company to assure prior approval.
- Provides problem-solving support for the referral process.
- Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served.
- Acts as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and is highly committed to a team construct.
Full-Time / 40 hours weekly (1.0 FTE)
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program preferred. Candidates with Certification and/or appropriate experience in a related field (lab, X-ray, etc.) or experience with insurance prior authorization may be considered.
- Current license and/or certification in accordance with education. BLS. Mandatory Reporter
