What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice LPN position at Regional Hospice?
We are a well-established hospice company looking to add to our team. Regional Hospice has 3 offices covering the southwest part of Missouri with offices in Joplin, Lebanon, and Springfield.
We are currently looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Lebanon, MO.
The LPN will:
· Assist the patient, family and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.
* Perform head-to-toe assessment and vital sign check on all assigned patients for the day.
* Occasionally provide personal care, bathing, dressing, etc to the patient.
· Communicate effectively with all hospice staff and provide all support as needed.
· Provide nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to the patient, family, and caregivers.
· Provide education to the patient, family, and caregivers.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an LPN and live within a commutable distance to the office.
Reliable transportation and car insurance required.
Hourly rate and mileage reimbursement provided. Benefits available for Full Time.
Documentation per electronic medical record, mileage computation per phone app.
Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person! We can teach you hospice regulations, medications, and charting. We are looking for nurses who know how to love and provide hands-on care to patients facing a terminal illness.
