The Education Coordinator will oversee the creation, delivery, and evaluation of education programs for clinical and non-clinical employees. From coordinating leadership development initiatives to managing onboarding and maintaining the LMS, this role ensures our employees receive world-class training and resources to support our mission of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Oversight of Benefits Administration Staff
- Provide direct oversight and leadership for HR personnel responsible for benefits administration.
- Implement process improvements to optimize benefits delivery and employee support.
New Hire Orientation
- Direct and facilitate the organization’s new hire orientation program while continuously refining the orientation experience based on feedback and organizational needs.
- Coordinate with department heads to provide department-specific presentations during orientation.
Benefits Administration & FMLA oversight
- Lead strategic planning and execution of benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage benefits audits, working closely with outside agencies and the finance team to ensure regulatory readiness.
HR Policy & Compliance Leadership
- Monitor industry trends to ensure HR polices remain compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
- Act as a key liaison between HR and executive leadership to ensure smooth policy implementation.
Workforce Analytics Partnership
- Partner with HR leadership and finance teams to analyst and report on workforce trends, benefits utilization, and turnover data.
- Ensure HR data reporting aligns with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Certification: Human Resources certification such as SPHR, PHR, and/or CEBS is preferred.
Experience:
- 4 years related work experience with demonstrated competence with human resources analytics and reporting
- Experience managing LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, HealthStream, Relias, spring, or similar) is required.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and training needs in healthcare.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical healthcare workflows is a plus.
