The Education Coordinator will oversee the creation, delivery, and evaluation of education programs for clinical and non-clinical employees. From coordinating leadership development initiatives to managing onboarding and maintaining the LMS, this role ensures our employees receive world-class training and resources to support our mission of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership Development Coordination
Design and manage leadership education programs tailored to the needs of clinical and non-clinical staff.
Partner with department leaders to identify and address skill gaps and development opportunities.
2. Onboarding and Orientation
Develop, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires across clinical and non-clinical teams.
Regularly update and enhance orientation materials to align with healthcare compliance and best practices.
3. Analytics and Reporting
Track, analyze, and report key metrics on the effectiveness of training programs.
Provide actionable insights to leadership based on data trends and program evaluations.
4. LMS Management
Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is updated with relevant courses, certifications, and compliance modules.
Troubleshoot LMS-related issues and provide technical support to staff.
Train employees on navigating the LMS to access training resources effectively.
5. Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with HR, department managers, and external partners to align educational programs with organizational goals.
Communicate program updates and expectations effectively to staff and leadership.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience :
3 years of experience in education coordination, learning and development, or leadership development in a healthcare setting.
Experience managing LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, HealthStream, Relias, spring, or similar) is required.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and training needs in healthcare.
Skills :
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical healthcare workflows is a plus.
