What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Regional West Health Services?
Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for a caring individual to join the team as a Pharmacist for our inpatient pharmacy.
As an RWMC Pharmacist, you will:
- Prepare oral and parenteral medications for RWMC patients
- Monitor medication orders for accuracy of dosage, interval, indication and interactions
- Provide decentralized pharmacy services as scheduled
- Verify accuracy of medication preparation and labeling, 24-hour unit dose cart filling and IV admixture preparation performed by pharmacy technicians
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
- Are a licensed Pharmacist in the State of Nebraska
- Have hospital pharmacy experience including IV admixture, unit dose, nutritional support, and DUE monitoring
- Maintain American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers certification
