Job Description
Regions Hospital is looking for an outstanding Credit Specialist to join our team! The Credit Specialist ensures that confirmed patient and insurance credits are refunded in a timely manner and are compliant with applicable regulations and payer requirements. The role helps our organization maintain accurate accounts receivable and maximize patient satisfaction, and we center our service excellence on patient care and patient relationships.
Work Schedule
This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $21.74-$32.62 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits. Our benefits include medical and dental insurance (which begin on day one of employment), 401k with match, disability insurance, fertility benefits, tuition reimbursement, educational reimbursement toward continuing education, and we are a qualified non-profit employer under the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program . We offer an onsite employee fitness center and an onsite employee clinic to make it more convenient for our staff to get the care they need, and have a Center for Employee Resilience that provides support and evidence-based practices to bring relief and build resiliency. - Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in medical billing or previous recent credit experience (within the last two years).
- Knowledge of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing.
