Job DescriptionRegions Hospital is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Mental Health team in a per diem position, picking up weekend shifts. In this position as an LGSW, you will work under direct supervision by an LICSW to provide psychosocial and psychiatric assessment, treatment planning and referral, to patients and families at Regions Hospital or RHSC clinics using a full range of social work treatment modalities, provide crisis intervention, counseling, and psychotherapy as appropriate. You will also participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team, work as part of the health care team to identify and progress a patient centered plan of care and discharge plans and provide education to other health care professionals in the psychosocial aspects of patient care.As an LICSW, you will work independently, providing psychosocial and psychiatric assessment, treatment planning and referral, to patients and families at Regions Hospital or RHSC clinics, using a full range of social work treatment modalities. To provide crisis intervention, counseling and psychotherapy as appropriate. To participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team. To provide education to other health care professionals in the psychosocial aspects of patient care. Work Schedule : Weekend ShiftsRequired Qualifications : MSW - from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the Canadian Association of Schools of Social Work (CASSW), or a similar accreditation body designated by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. LGSW, LISW or LICSW Licensure - MN Board of Social Work 1 year of experience in healthcare or social services (2 years of social work experience in LICSW and previous employment in health or mental health setting.)
