We are seeking an energetic proven leader to drive our e-learning business as Director, Online Training. Our compliance training business is rapidly growing, thanks to our high-quality training programs developed by world-class experts in safety and compliance, and our courses boast an impressive 4.8 out of 5-star rating on TrustPilot. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in production/factory workforce training and/or professional training. Additionally, experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and content development is essential. As Director, Online Training you would report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market: Craft the GTM (product, price, promotion, channels, etc.) strategy and execute the plan to grow the business 50% per year. Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Technology, Finance, and RevenueOps teams to coordinate GTM activities seamlessly.

Messaging and Positioning: For each course and library/bundle, develop ICPs, competitor positioning, and course descriptions to drive adoption.

Business and Web analytics: Integrate multiple data streams (PPC/Google Analytics, organic inquiries, web conversion, unit volumes, promotion usage, etc) to build an end-to-end view of performance at the course, library, and business level. Use the analytics to drive continuous improvement in the GTM motions.

Content Strategy: Research market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to develop new courses and libraries that drive growth. Work closely with the Content development team to plan, build and market new courseware.

Demand Generation: Work closely with Marketing to develop multi-channel, integrated demand generation campaigns across paid and organic channels.

Partnerships: Manage and develop revenue sharing and/or referral partnerships with industry trade associations.

Customer Insights: Implement an Industry Advisory Board to gain market insights on learner needs and business challenges. Action the insights into new courses and adjacent solutions.

Vendor Management: Work with LMS vendors to ensure high quality courseware and learner experience.

Budget Management: Manage a large content development and marketing budget and ensure effective allocation and ROI.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team fostering a collaborative environment that also delivers business plan goals.

Conversion Rate Optimization: Work closely with Marketing and Technology teams to test and optimize the website including messaging, landing pages, checkout flow, sales-assist follow through.

Executive Communication: Present at Monthly Business Reviews and other periodic updates the executive team on business performance, challenges, and new opportunities.
Qualifications:

B2B E-Learning Experience: Minimum 5 years in a manager or director-level leadership position at a B2B e-learning company, preferably in compliance or safety training.

Business-Owner Mindset: Proven ability to “own” the business and make smart, informed decisions that drive business and market share goals.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret sales, marketing, and performance data to make informed decisions on future courseware, price adjustments, sales actions, and website optimization. Expertise in revenue model building (using Excel or other tools) and data analytics/synthesis critical.

LMS Knowledge: Familiarity with LMS/LXP systems and SCORM.

Content Development: Experience with the courseware development process.

E-Commerce Experience: Experience with ecommerce-based selling preferred

Team Leadership: Experience leading a high-impact GTM team and coordinating across various internal teams including Finance, ReveueOps, Sales, and Marketing.

Organizational Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Remote Work Experience: Comfortable and experienced working remotely.
