What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lift Technician III position at REH Services, LLC?
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all Snowbasin lifts through systematic maintenance and inspection.
- Perform the most complex ski lift maintenance tasks including
- Hydraulic, diesel, and gearbox diagnosis and repair
- Tool and hardware fabrication
- Bull-wheel and sheave train overhauls
- Supervising splice and bull-wheel rigging
- Help ensure ski lift compliance with all governing agency requirements
- Be an advocate of all Snowbasin safety policies and procedures
- Complete technical tasks in a team environment
- Assist contractors and manufacturers with lift installation, upgrade and repairs
- Complete all necessary documentation and training
- What you’ll need to do the job:
- Highly skilled mechanic, possessing significant experience in maintaining lifts of all types
- Familiar with ANSI, UPRSC, Forest Service and OSHA regulations
- 8 years of lift maintenance experience
- Ability to use specialized equipment, tools, and testers
- Experience with heavy equipment (crane/ boom truck, excavator)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Capable of using hand tools for multiple hours at a time
- Ability to work outdoors in various mountain weather conditions for long periods of time
