Position Title : Development Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY :
The Development Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the fundraising operations of the REHAB Foundation by maintaining donor data, gift entry, acknowledgment processes, and reporting, while also providing project management support for fundraising events, donor appeals, and campaigns. This position will ensure that the Foundation's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is maintained with the highest standards of accuracy and consistency, enabling the team to effectively steward donors, track giving trends, and report on fundraising performance. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Foundation team to ensure smooth operations, timely communications, and successful execution of fundraising activities.

Education :
Bachelor's degree or High School graduate with (3) years of relevant experience in nonprofit, business administration, communications, or a related field.Skills / Experience :
At least 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, special events, donor relations, or database management.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially in managing donor data and reports.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create professional, personalized donor communications.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.Comfortable with data analysis and using CRM reporting tools to generate insights.Collaborative mindset with a positive, service-oriented attitude and a desire to contribute to the team's success.Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

At least 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, special events, donor relations, or database management preferably within a nonprofit or healthcare setting.Proficiency with fundraising CRM software (preferably Blackbaud NXT, Raiser's Edge, Greater Giving, or similar platforms).Experience with gift processing, data entry, and donor stewardship preferred.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) is a plus.Familiarity with online giving platforms and donor communication tools (e.g., MailChimp, Brevo) is a bonus.CORE VALUES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Accurately enter and categorize donor gifts in the CRM system (Blackbaud NXT, Raiser's Edge, Greater Giving or other platforms). Ensure all donor information is current, complete, and properly linked to their records.Regularly audit and update donor records to ensure data integrity and accurate segmentation for reporting, campaign appeals, and stewardship.Generate donor reports, analytics, and insights on giving trends, event revenue, donor retention, and campaign performance to support fundraising strategies and decision-making. : Ensure that all donations are acknowledged with personalized, accurate, and timely thank-you letters, receipts, and stewardship communications within a timely manner.Support the implementation of the donor stewardship plan by helping track and manage recognition activities (e.g., donor thank-you calls, donor impact reports, etc.).Assist with the coordination and execution of fundraising events (e.g., annual gala, golf tournament) by providing logistical support, managing timelines, and tracking tasks to ensure event goals and deadlines are met.Collaborate with the Annual Giving and Special Events teams to support direct mail campaigns, online giving initiatives, and special events by managing donor communications, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables are met on time.Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth project execution, from campaign planning to post-event follow-up. Attend regular team meetings to track progress and help address any challenges.Assist in preparing reports and materials for board meetings, donor stewardship, and leadership presentations.Identify and recommend improvements for data entry, gift processing workflows, and CRM functionality to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. Implement process improvements in collaboration with the IT and fundraising teams.Proactively suggest ways to enhance donor tracking, reporting tools, and communication strategies through technology and process upgrades.Uses sound judgment and ensures patient safety.Follows and adheres to all organizational and departmental policies and guidelines, code of conduct, and REHAB employee handbook.Performs other duties as assigned.PROFESSIONALISM AND COMPLIANCE COMPETENCIES
