What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Patient Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage a variety of tasks and projects as needed. Proficiency in EMR and healthcare systems is essential. Your ability to maintain smooth workflows and deliver uninterrupted service will be crucial in our fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and maintain office supplies
- Submit claims to insurance companies, follow up on claims, and resolve any billing issues
- Process payments and maintain financial records related to patient accounts
- Follow up with patients and vendors regarding payment matters
- Follow up with physicians to review and ensure the completion of Plan of Care.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Communicate with therapists through calls, texts, or emails to ensure compliance and address any inquiries
- Manage weekly trash disposal and ensure proper handling.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with medical software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
