What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at REHAU, Inc.?
Job duties include:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on industrial equipment.
- Work with various equipment types, including pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, programmable logic, and computer-controlled systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is production-ready.
- Communicate critical information to team members and management.
- Participate in projects aimed at improvements or production growth.
- Respond promptly to trouble calls to minimize downtime.
- Identify root causes of failures to prevent repeat issues.
- Perform equipment calibration as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Required skills:
- Experienced in diagnoses and repair of pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, programmable logic and computer-controlled systems.
- Be able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical blueprints including pneumatic schematics.
- Mechanical and electrical skills
Education and/or Experience Required:
- Associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance (mechanical/electrical) related field
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people
