Rehlko is looking for a Project Engineer to develop electronic circuit designs of moderately broad scope, including analog, digital, and high-speed data acquisition, to support microcontroller-based industrial control systems and controllers. You will contribute to electronics hardware design peer reviews and develop low-level controller subsystem software (Verilog, VHDL, etc.).
Specific Responsibilities :
- Develop, test, and document analog, digital, RF, and mixed signal electronic circuit designs, including the use of modeling and simulation techniques using PSpice and vendor-supplied simulation tools.
- Integrate previous circuit designs with new designs in new controller projects.
- Use and develop electronic design best practices, including risk assessment, design for environment, and design for manufacture.
- Work in a cross-functional team environment to develop low-level microcontroller and microprocessor software (board support).
- Use standard electronics laboratory tools, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and DMM, to analyze, debug, and document the proper operation of electronic circuits and systems.
- Develop and document electronic circuit and electronic control system requirements and specifications.
- Work closely and effectively with associates from marketing, purchasing, third-party certification, quality, and manufacturing.
- Develop and track product development schedules for assigned projects.
- Meet with vendors and customers to discuss, document, and solve technical issues.
- Estimate product development costs and end-product costs.
- Assist the verification team by clarifying specifications and requirements as issues arise during testing.
- Assist test engineering in the initial specification of equipment and procedures for production testing.
- Assist manufacturing and test teams in resolving design-related problems during production.
- Assist the product support group in adding features and maintaining functional specifications as the product matures.
Requirements :
The salary range for this position is $83,300 - $105,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
