Responsibilities
- Identify major categories of work; focus on essential duties.
- Overall Management of the monthly supply and demand planning (SIOP) process from end to end, to include the organization and leadership of the demand (Sales/Product Management) meeting, the Operations review and delivery of the monthly presentation to the President and CFO.
- Management and development of the Master Planning group, ensuring that data used by the Manufacturing plants is level loaded, accurate and produced on time.
- Partnership with the Finance group to align SIOP with budgeting and other financial goals
- Analysis and intelligent summarization and presentation of historical data, market trends and sales forecasts
- Responsibility to ensure that up to date information is available and used for new product introductions and end of life products, including last time buys. Further, to propose potential end of life products to Product Management, and provide input to the phase out plan in a way that is production efficient and that minimizes unusable inventory.
- Lead for medium and long range capacity planning in all Curtis Manufacturing plants over a 24 month horizon.
- Work with each manufacturing plant to determine and publish product lead times in the ERP system that include shipping and logistics.
- Provide the framework that promotes inventory reduction goals while at the same time improving service levels and customer satisfaction
- Responsibility for the integrity of information in the Playbook Tracker, and for the provision of monthly status reports.
- Creation, maintenance and presentation of smart key performance indicators in the forecasting process and for FG inventory.
- Creation and publishing of trend and exceptions reports that show (for example), month to month forecast changes >20%, excessive or insufficient safety stock levels etc.
- Monitor and validate safety stock levels (RM and FG), proposing changes as necessary to meet company goals.
- Provide simulations for supply and demand capabilities.
- Responsibility for calculating and proposing intercompany transfer prices and maintaining them in the ERP system.
- Conduct special projects as directed by senior management; providing assistance to any Curtis location worldwide when necessary on issues that arise.
- Abide by all company rules policies, and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to lead a team and process across functional groups to achieve a common goal.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in the information published.
- Use of metrics to show areas that require improvement.
- With the Manufacturing group, continuously review and agree a long range capacity plan that results in a rightsizing of Operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical area, business administration, or one that is heavily focused on data manipulation.
- Minimum 10 years in a Materials Management or data analysis role in a modern, high volume “lean” manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, experience with Syteline is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, and the mindset that data drives decisions.
- Thorough knowledge in modern principles and practices of MRP/ERP and lean manufacturing strategies.
- Advanced excel and database/BI skillsets, including advanced modeling capabilities.
- Ability to direct or lead a cross functional, matrixed and worldwide team to meet department or corporate objectives.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills, and team based thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and express ideas effectively.
- Excellent business and people judgment skills.
- Ability to balance global and local priorities. Ability to achieve agreed business and operational objectives.
- Knowledge of USDOC, Import and Export laws, EUR1, NAFTA, IATA and USDOT Title 9 is an advantage.

Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
