Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum & Classroom Excellence: Implement the CDC Board-approved ABeka curriculum, oversee lesson planning, and ensure age-appropriate activities.
- Operational Leadership: Administer daily operations, maintain staff-to-child ratios, and uphold a secure atmosphere for children and staff.
- Community & Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the broader community to foster positive relationships.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including DSS requirements for child care facilities.
- Staff Development: Hire, supervise, evaluate, and provide ongoing professional development for staff.
- Strategic Reporting & Improvement: Provide the CDC Board with monthly updates on enrollment, compliance, staffing, budgeting, and future events.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Leader: At least 21 years of age with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, plus a minimum of three years’ experience in a licensed child care setting.
- Faith-Driven Professional: A person deeply passionate about serving Christ, integrating faith into daily activities, and nurturing spiritual growth in young children.
- Organizational & Tech-Savvy Guru: Exceptional multitasking, time management, organizational skills, and comfortable with modern technology.
- Innovative & Effective Communicator: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a knack for building harmonious relationships within the church and community.
Additional Expectations:
- Direct reporting to the CDC Board
- Collaborate closely with Rehoboth Baptist Church’s Pastor and leaders
- Foster strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Promote and enhance enrollment initiatives
Work Environment:
- This position requires physical presence on-site during operating hours.
