Position Summary
This position supports administrative tasks while balancing high-level business priorities,
including strategic planning, project coordination and executive alignment and integration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
● Coordinate and implement general office services such as appointment-setting,
records control, and other administrative activities.
● Manages multiple calendars for leadership team.
● Volunteer Coordination which includes administration of volunteer approval processes,
coordination and logistics as well as acting as a liaison and resource for the Volunteer
Leadership Team. The Volunteer Leadership Team is made up of volunteers who will
help recruit and deploy volunteers in various areas of need like events and overnight
mentors, property maintenance, donations, drivers, etc.
● Interpret and communicate operating policies.
● Coordinate collection and preparation of operations reports.
● Locate and compile information, format reports, graphs, tables, records and other
sources of information. Help prepare presentations for the leadership team.
● Receive speaker requests. Assist with the organization and coordination of events,
including assigning personnel to the event whether volunteers or staff.
● Serve as financial support to the Financial Administrator. This includes receiving and depositing checks, managing the petty cash fund, tracking construction invoices and
submitting for approval and payment.
● Operate personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic
office support software.
● Use various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
● Exercise administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area.
20-24 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
● High school diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred)
● Three years of related experience or relevant coursework
● Ability to exchange non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate
● Good oral and written communication skills
