What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Traveling Safety Coordinator position at Reich Installation Services Inc?
RIS is looking to add to our growing team! We are seeking a Safety Coordinator who is open/willing to be hands on with our Installation Team. Our Team works with customers to meet expectations and deliver install services in a safe but timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and evaluating daily operations and planning procedures to mitigate risks and improve safety overall site safety.
- Ensuring JSA’s and STA’s are filled out correctly
- Creating new JSA’s and STA’s as new work fronts or tools are added
- Ensuring meaningful STA Meetings are being done daily
- Inspecting building work areas, individual work fronts, and common areas to ensure the environment is safe for all employees
- Monitoring staff to evaluate if health and safety is not at risk
- Assessing equipment and machinery to gauge if they are in safe, working order; this will be done by daily Checks.
- Investigating on-site accidents.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of safety related experience
- Possess a current Osha 30 Certification as well as First Aid Training
- Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Able to read and write, English and Spanish
