Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will support attorney in all aspects of family law cases, including managing case files, drafting legal documents, and maintaining client communication.

- Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, pleadings, and marital settlement agreements.
- Organize and manage case files to ensure they are current and accessible.
- Conduct legal research and compile evidence for attorney review.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries.
- Coordinate and schedule court hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
- File legal documents with courts and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other staff to move cases efficiently through the litigation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal software, court filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Cook, DuPage, Lake County courts is a plus.
- Bi-Lingual is a plus.
