The Maintenance staff performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer / client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Maintenance staff is responsible for general maintenance and repair of parking equipment. The Maintenance staff works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and / or Shift Supervisor to ensure that standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with sign installation and / removal, litter pick-up and garbage removalSnow removal and pressure washing as directedRepresenting the company in the case of accidents within the facilityCoordinating with the property security as required with any garage and / or parking related issueAssist with repair of broken gate armsOther duties as assignedResponsible for equipment belonging to Reimagined or the Property Manager valued at anywhere from $200.00 up to $50,000Interact face to face with our customers (Service is priority)Must ensure that the site at which the individual is working is kept clean, neat, and free of any obstacles in accordance with the requirements of that site using the equipment required / provided to perform these dutiesHas control of all tools and equipment required to perform his / her dutiesMake suggestions and recommendations relating to the way various jobs are performedConsults with his / her supervisor or manager regarding items of relevance to the parking operationEach employee is required to log all the issues / events in the log book, and bring them to the attention of his / her direct supervisorIn problem situations the jobholder will coordinate, in order to achieve a resolution through his dealings, with his his / her supervisors or managerAct as a front line employee which is considered an extremely important function of this positionUniforms must be worn when on duty in a neat and well groomed manner. Appearance is representative of the companyResponsible for prioritization of various jobs with his / her supervisors / managerResponsible for tracking levels of stock as well as suppliesSkills, Knowledge and Expertise
Must be organizedValid Driver's LicenseStrong command of the English language, be friendly, even tempered, cooperative, able to work independently and be able to communicate effectivelyBasic knowledge in the use of pressure washer and power tools and ability to tow a trailerAbility to operate a snow plow would be an assetAbility to drive a number of various different types of vehicles (Automatic or Manual Transmission)Knowledge of various parking related machineryEDUCATION / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :
Previous experience with general repairs and maintenance functionsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBasic Technical EducationBenefits
