The City of Seward is recruiting for a Seasonal Parking Lot AttendantThis position is responsible for managing parking in the Small Boat Harbor area and the Downtown Business District, including monitoring parking compliance and collection of parking fees. Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
DETAILED WORK DUTIES: Monitors parking in the Harbor Area and Business District, enforces parking ordinances, confirms that customers have paid.Sells parking passes.Submits reports on daily activities.Performs minor maintenance in parking areas such as stripping parking spots, moving bumper stops and litter removal.Assists customers with directions, street locations and other similar requests. May assist Harbor employees in directing flow of traffic during peak traffic times.Provides effective and efficient customer service and promotes and maintains responsive community relations.Follows safe work practices.Performs related duties as assigned.
