Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (English and Spanish) Housekeeping Manager to oversee and manage our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality cleaning standards, managing bookings, allocating work, conducting quality checks, training staff, handling inventory, and overall staff management. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Bookings: Coordinate and schedule housekeeping services to meet client needs and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Work Allocation: Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff based on workload and individual strengths.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Staff Training: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of housekeeping staff.
- Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and support housekeeping team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on housekeeping operations, including performance metrics and inventory status.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably within the cleaning services industry.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in management or hospitality are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using scheduling and inventory management software; familiarity with Zoom and other remote communication tools.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to maintain high cleaning standards and ensure client satisfaction.
