Reingold’s Internship Program 

A Reingold intern has high standards and a fearless mindset. Our interns are energetic, innovative, take initiative, and demonstrate professionalism in everything they do. This internship program is your opportunity to discover what it really means to bid for and win work for a full-service communications agency. You’ll learn the ins and outs of your department, work as a valued member of project teams, and collaborate with experts in various departments. You’ll even get a chance to present some of your own work to the entire firm. Reingold offers you opportunities to tailor the internship experience to your interests and strengths — all while working on causes that really matter. We can’t wait for you to join us! 

Internships are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 5, and runs through Friday, November 21. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia.

What It Means To Be a Reingold Proposal Intern 

This position offers a rare and exciting chance to gain real-world proposal experience. 

Intern responsibilities may include: 

• Track the latest versions of approved proposal language, past performance summaries, and staff resumes. 
• Coordinate and schedule the full life cycle of proposal development: from a go/no-go decision through outlining, gathering and writing content, and submission. 
• Scour RFPs for any requirements (deadlines, page limits, formats, attachments, notarizations, delivery specs). 
• Coordinate and capture notes from various proposal meetings. 
• Track team schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all proposal elements at all times. 
• Oversee proposal packaging and delivery by email, by overnight mail, or in person.  
• Maintain our internal proposal tracker for proposal values, wins/losses, and evaluator feedback.

A Reingold Intern Must

• Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
• Communicate clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing.
• Build and follow timelines and meet tight deadlines.
• Possess a collaborative, team-player attitude.
• Be eager to learn by doing and take initiative.
• Be able to receive and incorporate peer feedback.
