Job Description

Job contributions and key responsibilities :

Food Safety Administration

Ensure each RBI ranch-maintains Food Safety records, updated and available.
Be able to understand requirements purposes and consequences for non-compliance.
Order crew materials and prepare Food Safety binders, etc.
Order First Aid kits and fire extinguishers, as needed.
Schedule Fire extinguishers maintenance inspections.
Logs and audit reporting, to include but not limited to :
Provide all irrigators with fertilizer application logs so that they may update and be informed of all areas where fertilizers are applied.
Check that all Crew Leaders are filling out their harvest area and cleaning sheets and that they are maintaining accurate logs.
Perform weekly crew visits and perform internal audits. Take all corrective actions required.
Prepare all documentation in the correct sequence for Global GAP audits and organic certifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date current harvest, fertilizer and pesticide logs for audit purposes.
Conduct pre audits for 3rd party audits (Global Gap, CCOF, CDFA Control points ensuring all documentation is accurate, pre-auditing crews and employee interviews).
Update the calculation of fertilizer quantities that are used in the different berry commodities in order to maintain updated logs and reports.
Keep accurate pesticides and fertilizer inventory (review and scanned). Order fertilizers and pesticides per Ranch Managers request.
Calibrate for pesticides applications equipment (scan log).
Conduct water source inspections (review and scan) and site risk assessments.
Complete water usage reports and meters reports, only for shared lines (Approx 6 Ranches). Verify water sources and storage inspections are being carried out under the register control.
Perform food safety and safety trainings (review and scan).
Submit NOIs (pesticide applications) to Driscoll's on a daily basis, and on Friday's ensure that all pesticides use has been updated.
Provide copies of all required forms to irrigators for fertilization application records.

Production Support for RBI

Create all RBI ranch map, signs (block assigned) creation and provide them to each RBI Ranch Mgr.

Create block IDs for each ranch and provide them to Ranch Mgrs.

Create Block report for Agrian Report and send it to Driscoll's (No. of acres, ranch practice, variety, DSA No. and MRL).

Create new risk evaluation for new sites (Ranch)

Create Mother Jobs for Practices

Fill out form called Liberacion de Rancho

Create the Cultivation Practice for each ranch, using program New Projects.

Assist with County Permits

Process Decoy County Notifications

Send forecast to DSA each Monday- Send it to Eduardo Lucero (VP Production).

Administrator to Grower Portal to Crew leaders, Ranch Manager and truck drivers to PQ or create and account for RM

Order supplies for Ranch Manager for Example (APN-100) stickers machine for crates / and send them for repair

Report pesticides as needed on Agrian

Trainings with OneDrive and Forms as required

Report all PUR's in Agrian

Act as a liaison for creation of Maps

Organic Program

Help gather records needed for add acreages, parcel transfers

Ensure RBI's profile is up to date with accurate ranch Descriptions

Support with yearly CDFA Renewal

Keep Natural Resource / Biodiversity plan up to date

Manage RBI's CCOF input list

Keep track of all cold storage movements

Participate in organic ranch activation process

Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge in agriculture industry is a plus but not required.

Education Level :

High school Diploma and Associates Degree desired

Field / s of Education :

Business Administration

Years of experience / Aos de Experiencia :

1 Year in admin support, preferable Food Safety exposure

Languages :

English / Ingles : Fluent

Spanish / Espaol : Fluent

Necessary Software :

Microsoft Office Suite - Advanced

License required :

If driving is a necessary part of a job employees are required to possess a valid driver's license.

Travel requirements :

15% Travel within ranches and domestic

Pay Scale : $23.00 - $26.00

Salary : $23 - $26
